When people asked me, "Where are you going? Your going to live in what? Your going to live with who?" my answer was always the same, "I'm going to North Carolina to live in an Airstream with one of my very best friends, Gecko." I met Gecko five years ago when I lived in L.A. He is one of the most fearless, adventurous and fun free-spirits I have ever met. And I would probably follow him right off the ledge of a bridge because I know that somehow when I hit the water after him it would not only be perfectly color coordinated but that it would also cushion my fall (probably with one from Ikea). When I got down here to spend some time on the farm in the airstream with him, I knew it was exactly where I was supposed to be.
Meet Beulah... ain't she purdy!(In Southern Baptist hymns, Beulahland means "heaven" and when she gets air conditioning that's exactly what she is going to feel like)

She wasn't always so purdy...
It took Gecko a little over a month to buy and renovate Beulah with his friend Bliss. Here are some before and after shots.
